Susan Port Salon Owner
I began hairdressing in 2000 as an apprentice in a salon in Seaforth where I was fortunate to work with Matrix brand educators who advanced my learning in all aspects of hairdressing.
After working in several salons throughout Sydney’s Northern Beaches, I was invited to audition for the Redken Fashion Week team and was successful and I have since worked on many fashion and industry shows.
I joined Salon Renaissance in 2014 as a Senior Stylist where I have continued to create beautiful hair for my customers in Sydney. I have continued my passion of working in fashion and industry shows both in Sydney and internationally, in Paris Fashion Week.
My passion for the industry made the decision to move into salon ownership an easy one and I took over Salon Renaissance in 2016. The salon now has a strong focus on environmental sustainability and I hope to be a leader in making the industry more sustainable.

I have over 22 years of experience in the hairdressing industry.
Having been lucky enough to start my career with the Toni and Guy foundation, I then travelled to Hong Kong to further my hairdressing skills in one of the elite top 5 salons.
Since joining Salon Renaissance in 2016 I have continued my journey and completed my La Biosthetique Colour Expert Specialise.
I specialise in precision cutting to design individual looks for all my clients.

I was born in Ireland moved to Australia when i turned 18. now that im a resident can follow my dream to become a hairdresser.
i started my apprenticeship this year.
